Hernan Mundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Demario went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Camerino to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Tienso's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Delfino came free, but Hernan Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Alonzo Delfino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahía é Carnaval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Delfino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alonzo Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Desiderio Demario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hernan Mundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicanor Otsoa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Alonzo Delfino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahía é Carnaval's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Delfino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Mundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herminio Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Romeri having to interfere. Hernan Mundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Demario went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Tienso defense, Desiderio Demario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Mundo. The Tienso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Mundo should have stopped the shot. Alonzo Delfino struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Hernan Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahía é Carnaval.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Delfino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Balesio's late challenge caught a Bahía é Carnaval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Balesio helped the player get up and apologised. Anselmo Balesio kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Desiderio Demario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Hernan Mundo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Bahía é Carnaval's Alonzo Delfino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Desiderio Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Demario succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 65th playminute. Hernan Mundo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Bahía é Carnaval's Conrado Cambranes. But to his dismay, Conrado Cambranes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Cambranes got free with Hernan Mundo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Desiderio Demario got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hernan Mundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Desiderio Demario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Hernan Mundo made a huge save. Sergio Romeri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Xabier in the 91st minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Tienso's goalkeeper Hernan Mundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Chorche. When the match was over Bahía é Carnaval could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tienso throughout the match.
