Sandro Asteguieta was a little too slow when Rosendo Argi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's Xoan Golpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fanis Bakosis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sandro Asteguieta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Lain in the 16th minute. After 16 played minutes CD Suscal got a freekick which was hit by Cordero Dulanto. In the 18th match minute, CD Suscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordero Dulanto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CD Suscal's zone, Teofilo Venceslao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Asteguieta came out of the goal and Teofilo Venceslao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CD Suscal's Sandro Asteguieta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save CD Suscal from getting a goal against them. Teodosio Lain came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sandro Asteguieta could save by the left post. In the 28th minute Teofilo Venceslao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Argi came free, but Sandro Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Lain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Sandro Asteguieta made a huge save. Rosendo Argi charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Argi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rosendo Argi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Rosendo Argi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Echeto struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Fanis Bakosis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Suscal. Sandro Asteguieta was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Teofilo Venceslao capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teofilo Venceslao really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

Sandro Asteguieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Venceslao in the 58th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Venceslao came free, but Sandro Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Norberto Jerico came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Tiburones Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Jerico couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Venceslao came free, but Sandro Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Ivan Echeto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fanis Bakosis, passed just outside the right post. Sandro Asteguieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Lain in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Rodrigo Peruxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Asteguieta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After having played for 87 minutes, Teodosio Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiburones Rojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Lain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiburones Rojos's Gaudencio Salomone was substituted for Sixto Tristan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Argi in the 90th minute of play forced CD Suscal's goalkeeper Sandro Asteguieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Tiburones Rojos were the better team. Tiburones Rojos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
