Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xoan Golpe took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Xines Merida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Suscal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Litoral EC - CIMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, CD Suscal's Xines Merida got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Paulo José Campidelis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sandro Asteguieta but with some difficulty. In the 5th minute, one of CD Suscal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Suscal. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Litoral EC - CIMZ. Paulo José Campidelis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sandro Asteguieta. 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Vander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sandro Asteguieta. Ricardinho Vander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ivan Echeto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Joélson Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Echeto in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Ivan Echeto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Suscal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Echeto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joélson Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xoan Golpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Joélson Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xoan Golpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by León Buisan in the 28th minute of play forced Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Joélson Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CD Suscal getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ivan Echeto hit a great ball. Joélson Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Echeto in the 32nd minute of play. Claudinei Esteves lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of CD Suscal booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Xoan Golpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Suscal's supporters rose to their feet, but Xoan Golpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joélson Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Edgard Vides made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cordero Dulanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardinho Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Xoan Golpe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joélson Carvalho. That made the score 2-1 in the 56 minute of play. León Buisan charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed León Buisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. León Buisan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Joélson Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xoan Golpe in the 67th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, CD Suscal's Xoan Golpe made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joélson Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Edgard Vides sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandro Asteguieta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Suscal's goalkeeper Sandro Asteguieta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Vides came free, but Sandro Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgard Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo José Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CD Suscal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
