Sergio Romeri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Eliasson in the 19th minute of play. Bogumil Bielatowicz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Sergio Romeri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bearnaise EA. Bahía é Carnaval's attentive Prospero Jakes managed to snatch the ball when Jim Houwing made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. The throw-in from Prospero Jakes in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bearnaise EA's Jim Houwing. 李玮峰 Li received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sergio Romeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Roque Camerino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 53 minutes, Bearnaise EA's Mårten Alström got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sergio Romeri. Sergio Romeri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Conrado Cambranes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Christian Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Christian Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bearnaise EA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Cambranes during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Conrado Cambranes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
