Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dinei Goiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 minutes of play, Vodka Stars 1949's Prometeo Perpiñán made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Mello was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Adhemar da Fonseca took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fidel Prieto to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Lago to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Tiburcio Amorebieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vodka Stars 1949's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Amorebieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Vodka Stars 1949 booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naldo Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Amorebieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Carlitos Garzon struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Naldo Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vodka Stars 1949. Hamílton Campidelis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Wambalamba FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Fidel Prieto managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Wambalamba FC's Dinei Goiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Andreas Winehouse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vodka Stars 1949's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Winehouse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Vodka Stars 1949 fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Vodka Stars 1949's Andreas Winehouse looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Andreas Winehouse made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vodka Stars 1949 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Tiburcio Amorebieta hit a great ball. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Winehouse in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinei Goiano in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Prieto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlitos Garzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naldo Mello was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Prometeo Perpiñán showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 66 minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Nevada Lopez de Toro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Naldo Mello, 1-4. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Renato Lago hit a great ball. Carlitos Garzon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Naldo Mello made a huge save. If Andreas Winehouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naldo Mello made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Carlitos Garzon sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Vodka Stars 1949 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wambalamba FC.
