Naldo Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Christian Eliasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Naldo Mello made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Christian Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Mello came out of the goal and Christian Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naldo Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Eliasson in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Jim Houwing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 47 minutes, 李玮峰 Li managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bearnaise EA's supporters crossed their fingers, but 李玮峰 Li was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Kennet Lagerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Christian Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bearnaise EA's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Eliasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Eliasson in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naldo Mello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Eliasson struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Naldo Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bearnaise EA.
