Hernan Mundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Hernan Mundo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hernan Mundo made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Edgard Vides sent off a good shot on target. Hernan Mundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Ricardinho Vander took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Hernan Mundo to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the game, Edgard Vides cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Hernan Mundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hernan Mundo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Edgard Vides sent off a good shot on target. When Ricardinho Vander came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Litoral EC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Vander couldn't finish the play. Joélson Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Balesio in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Tienso's goalkeeper Hernan Mundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Berger. In the 28th match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. When Edgard Vides came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Litoral EC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Vides couldn't finish the play. Hernan Mundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Antunes in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Edgard Vides ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hernan Mundo. Hernan Mundo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Edgard Vides put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hernan Mundo. Hernan Mundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Berger in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.
In the 51st match minute, Tienso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Balesio to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Vides might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Mundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Vides ran back to his position shaking his head. If Edgard Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute Edgard Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Mundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Augusto Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Mundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Igor Berger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Litoral EC - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 68 minutes into the match, Edgard Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Mundo. Tienso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Herminio Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Augusto Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hernan Mundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Gaizkine during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tienso's Angel Gaizkine got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Vides in the 81st minute of play forced Tienso's goalkeeper Hernan Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernan Mundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aírton Capixaba went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Litoral EC - CIMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
