CAI NEUQUEN's Serafin Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Pelati in the 12th minute of play. Anfilogino Tenaglia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Edoardo Pelati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CAI NEUQUEN's Gavino Urtun got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dave Galante lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Dave Galante kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Antonio Simone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Iban in the 32nd minute of play. Paulo Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of A.S. Ian Fenomeni booed when CAI NEUQUEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Lleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Totakoxe made a kick off. In the 69th minute, Rene Fortun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anfilogino Tenaglia might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Lalla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anfilogino Tenaglia ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in CAI NEUQUEN's zone, Edoardo Pelati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Lalla came out of the goal and Edoardo Pelati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Arnoldo Totakoxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAI NEUQUEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Totakoxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Simone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Totakoxe in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Simone saved A.S. Ian Fenomeni from getting behind. After a rather tough play, CAI NEUQUEN's Gavino Urtun got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 83 minutes, Anfilogino Tenaglia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S. Ian Fenomeni and the CAI NEUQUEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes A.S. Ian Fenomeni got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Tenaglia. After 88 played minutes A.S. Ian Fenomeni got a freekick which was hit by Diego De Lorenzi. Serafin Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Punta in the 92nd minute of the match. If Edoardo Pelati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.S. Ian Fenomeni succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though CAI NEUQUEN had controlled the match.
