Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Antonio Simone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingo Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when A.S. Ian Fenomeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Castronovo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to A.S. Ian Fenomeni getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Concetto Vasco hit a great ball. Gaviotas FC's Mariano Stephen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Antonio Simone but with some difficulty. After having played for 28 minutes, Ildefonso Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Ortle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bebeto Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ferruccio Castronovo fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S. Ian Fenomeni's protests and gave Ferruccio Castronovo a yellow card for diving instead. Ferruccio Castronovo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Bebeto Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Pelati in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Ortle to make the kick off. In the 65th minute, Bebeto Queirós fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gavino Luke, passed just outside the right post. Antonello Di Paola hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Rodolfo Ursino replaced Godfredo Quinteros. Gaviotas FC's Santiago Oliverio was substituted for Anastasio Arce. After a rather tough play, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Antonello Di Paola got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Domingo Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaviotas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Quinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Simone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ildefonso Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Antonio Simone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Ursino in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to A.S. Ian Fenomeni getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Edoardo Pelati hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Ian Fenomeni's zone, Ildefonso Ortle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Simone came out of the goal and Ildefonso Ortle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edoardo Pelati kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ildefonso Ortle struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Antonio Simone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Ortle, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Bebeto Queirós notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke. Gavino Luke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ildefonso Ortle came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Gaviotas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Ortle couldn't finish the play. Ferruccio Castronovo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
