The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan-Ove Carlsson took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredinho Pereira. Alfredinho Pereira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute, Mathias Bäck made a precise shot to the right of Alfredinho Pereira. Chelsicha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Tomas Thedin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Pereira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Mathias Bäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Lite Finare Lite Bättre booed when Chelsicha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. César de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsicha's goalkeeper Alfredinho Pereira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Rodrigues in the 31st minute of play forced Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Bo Sillén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Thedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Alfredinho Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Thedin in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goalkeeper Alfredinho Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Hökkvist. In the 44th minute of the match, Jan-Ove Carlsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfredinho Pereira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Bäck in the 46th minute of play forced Chelsicha's goalkeeper Alfredinho Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Renato Penha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bo Sillén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Lite Finare Lite Bättre were furious when Andy Westerberg was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 57th minute, one of Lite Finare Lite Bättre:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lite Finare Lite Bättre. The goalkeeper, Bo Sillén, was totally fooled by Chelsicha's José Carlos Carneiro, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 61 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Emil Bergren. Bo Sillén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Rodrigues in the 63rd minute of play. If Tomas Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Bäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alfredinho Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredinho Pereira came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Mathias Bäck. But to his dismay, Mathias Bäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsicha's zone, Mathias Bäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Pereira came out of the goal and Mathias Bäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Pereira having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Mathias Bäck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredinho Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 89 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Bäck came free, but Alfredinho Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomas Thedin fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lite Finare Lite Bättre's protests and gave Tomas Thedin a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Thedin hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Chelsicha's José Carlos Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lite Finare Lite Bättre had played much better football throughout.
