An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Maley in the 7th minute of play forced Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Bo Sillén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikolay Kosunov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Matvey Mikhailov managed to get in a good position for a shot. STORM's supporters rose to their feet, but Matvey Mikhailov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Sillén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipp Chkalov kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Bo Sillén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksandr Schukin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Maley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bo Sillén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veniamin Vorobiev charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veniamin Vorobiev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Veniamin Vorobiev kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Lite Finare Lite Bättre booed when STORM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaroslav Komarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Ruslan Gavrilenkov threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emil Bergren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emil Bergren hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Bo Sillén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Maley, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Igor Maley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bo Sillén was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Jan-Ove Carlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otto Kollin hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. STORM's Ruslan Gavrilenkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save STORM from getting a goal against them. If Nikolay Kosunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes of play, STORM's Igor Maley made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bo Sillén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ove Hökkvist to make the kick off. Bo Sillén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksandr Schukin in the 50th minute. Bo Sillén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Koirovich, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. STORM made a substitution. Nikolay Ananichev replaced Valentin Vorobiev. After 60 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Otto Kollin. Igor Maley's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bo Sillén firmly grabbed it by the left post. Otto Kollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruslan Gavrilenkov having to interfere. After 69 played minutes STORM got a freekick which was hit by Igor Maley. STORM's Vitaliy Koirovich couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lite Finare Lite Bättre. After 75 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Arne Ek. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Igor Maley scored to the left of an out of position Bo Sillén, making the score, 0-2. In the 80th minute, Igor Maley made a precise shot to the right of Bo Sillén. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 84 minutes into the match, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy Koirovich came free, but Bo Sillén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lite Finare Lite Bättre getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Stefan Bjursell hit a great ball. The STORM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing STORM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
