Antônio Carlos Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Luke having to interfere. Domingo Quinto's late challenge caught a Chelsicha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Quinto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Domingo Quinto got a free kick in the 13th minute. Gavino Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Jakobe to maneuver through the defense. Frederico de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Luke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30thth minute of the game Antônio Carlos Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mariano Stephen hit a great ball. Antônio Carlos Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gavino Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Ortle in the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Godfredo Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Antônio Carlos Melo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ediberto Munhoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chelsicha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaviotas FC the free kick. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when Chelsicha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Carlos Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gavino Luke made a huge save. In the 60th minute Ildefonso Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Paraense's late challenge caught a Gaviotas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. Gaviotas FC's Damian Rufo was substituted for Fabricio Jakobe. Sebastião Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Chelsicha's Diogo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Ortle in the 65th minute of play. Rodolfo Ursino's late challenge caught a Chelsicha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Ursino helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Gaviotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Ursino. In the 72nd minute Frederico de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaviotas FC's Domingo Quinto got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Domingo Quinto off the ground. Santiago Oliverio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsicha's zone, Ildefonso Ortle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Velloso came out of the goal and Ildefonso Ortle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diogo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Frederico de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Luke having to interfere. The Chelsicha players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
