When Fernando Clis came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ullún fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Clis couldn't finish the play. Anastasio Etxekopar might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasio Etxekopar ran back to his position shaking his head. Anastasio Etxekopar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Shantala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Enzo Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Etxekopar in the 16th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Fernando Clis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilma Palma's Enzo Shantala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 minutes, Ladislao Cedro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ullún and the Vilma Palma players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luo Zhen Chang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Joel Mingo made a huge save. If Fernando Clis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ullún's Zeledon Cutberto got a free kick in the 34th minute. A collision led to Vilma Palma getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Santiago Frisco hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vilma Palma's Mauro Cesario slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Mingo. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Clis was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Enzo Shantala managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Ullún's Anastasio Etxekopar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54thth minute of the game Fernando Clis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilma Palma's Enzo Shantala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57th play minutes Anastasio Etxekopar shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Enzo Shantala and just under the crossbar into goal. Enzo Shantala was a little too slow when Anastasio Etxekopar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 2-2. Felix Ruisko was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. The referee gave Vilma Palma a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mauro Cesario, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ullún's Joel Mingo. 3-2. Enzo Shantala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Clis, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Joel Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Cesario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Clis in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Shantala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ullún were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Vilma Palma's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fidel Gutxi took the corner. The corner led Ullún's Fidel Gutxi to fire away a dangerous shot which Enzo Shantala despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vilma Palma made a substitution. Mats Nyman replaced Santiago Frisco. Ullún's Fernando Clis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Zeledon Cutberto hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Vilma Palma's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Clis came free, but Enzo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ullún players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vilma Palma.
