Leandro Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Mangas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the game, Jano Cavalcante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eloy Mangas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Leandro Brito sped through Soucar FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eloy Mangas. In the 27th minute, Jano Cavalcante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 30 minutes into the match, Soucar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Brito came free, but Eloy Mangas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Leandro Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. The Soucar FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Montevideo were winning 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aimar Villa made a kick off. Jano Cavalcante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Eloy Mangas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 59 minutes of play, Montevideo's Clóvis Paraense made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eloy Mangas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eloy Mangas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jano Cavalcante in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Leandro Brito lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Eloy Mangas. With a little luck, Soucar FC's Eloy Mangas got control of the ball when Jano Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jano Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Montevideo fans jumped to their feet. In the last second Eloy Mangas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jano Cavalcante in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 86 minutes into the match, Soucar FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mangas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jano Cavalcante. Eloy Mangas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Brito in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Zapater during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Montevideo made a substitution. Acácio Pires replaced Leandro Brito.
