In the 3rd minute, Ruben de Wolf made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Recife. AC Metropol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th match minute, AC Metropol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Zonta to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, AC Metropol's goal looked a bit too open when Axel De Beer came free, but Patrick Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, AC Metropol's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Vlimmens came free, but Patrick Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AC Metropol's Hamílton Miranda got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Axel De Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forza Heppenbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel De Beer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Brain De Raedemaeker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forza Heppenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Brain De Raedemaeker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Recife breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben de Wolf in the 31st minute of play forced AC Metropol's goalkeeper Patrick Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Ruben de Wolf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forza Heppenbach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Patrick Recife came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Forza Heppenbach's Ward Raeymakers. But to his dismay, Ward Raeymakers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in AC Metropol's zone, Ward Raeymakers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Recife came out of the goal and Ward Raeymakers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AC Metropol's Patrick Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Vlimmens in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Ward Raeymakers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forza Heppenbach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ward Raeymakers to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Axel De Beer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Patrick Recife, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Dimitri Gielis took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Patrick Recife to make any attempt to save it. When Ruben de Wolf fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forza Heppenbach's protests and gave Ruben de Wolf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Forza Heppenbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben de Wolf to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Fernand Melkval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forza Heppenbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernand Melkval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Dimitri Gielis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Recife. Dimitri Gielis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. With a little luck, AC Metropol's Patrick Recife got control of the ball when Ruben de Wolf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben de Wolf struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Patrick Recife didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forza Heppenbach. Axel De Beer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Recife having to interfere. Dominic Vlimmens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Ward Raeymakers made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Recife. AC Metropol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Ward Raeymakerss short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Patrick Recife to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ward Raeymakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Patrick Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Recife was a little too slow when Ward Raeymakers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-9. Forza Heppenbach's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
