An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Paraense in the 54th minute of play forced AC Metropol's goalkeeper Patrick Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Charles Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Metropol's protests and gave Charles Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Charles Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jano Cavalcante scored 9-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Recife, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 65 minutes, Jano Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 67th minute of the match, Hamílton Miranda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oleg Timofeev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamílton Miranda in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oleg Timofeev saved Montevideo from getting behind. Patrick Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jano Cavalcante went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Charles Zonta hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Patrick Recife came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Montevideo's Jano Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Jano Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jano Cavalcante in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Recife saved AC Metropol from getting behind. In the 87thth minute of the game Jano Cavalcante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Metropol's Patrick Recife was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, AC Metropol's Charles Zonta got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Cavalcante in the 90th minute of play forced AC Metropol's goalkeeper Patrick Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Metropol's Patrick Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Salgado in the 91st minute of play. Charles Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes, Montevideo's Laerte Paraíba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Recife came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montevideo reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montevideo fully deserved thier win.
