Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Kinsen in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Roldanillo came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe Galtero was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 18 played minutes Atlético y Tiro Rqta got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Roldanillo. Granate were furious when Amador Luzea was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 21 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Amador Luzea. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Kinsen in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Lino Orlondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Anacleto Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Robert Kirby hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Granate defense, Eugenio Steven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Palmquist. The Granate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Palmquist should have stopped the shot. The corner led Granate's Lucio Serapio to fire away a dangerous shot which Luis Landaburu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Bernabe Galtero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granate's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Galtero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Landaburu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Gudesteo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Palmquist saved Granate from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Julio Gudesteo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Palmquist. Granate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Atlético y Tiro Rqta were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Atlético y Tiro Rqta booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Bladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Landaburu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Kirby in the 67th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Robert Kirby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Luis Landaburu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Ildefonso Columbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Orlondo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Lino Orlondo charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Orlondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lino Orlondo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Lucio Serapio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Atlético y Tiro Rqta booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
