Alin Partenadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Boboc, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Nae Hodorog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes FC Alinborger got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Pencu. In the 20th minute of the match Cristi Ciuvică sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alin Partenadze skillfully saved the ball. 22 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Cotoi came free, but Alin Partenadze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Alinborger getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Flavius Nițulescu hit a great ball. Alin Partenadze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Boboc in the 24th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Ilie Beraru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 and the FC Alinborger players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Beraru. Nae Hodorog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Foltea having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nae Hodorog made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Alinborger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Nițulescu to maneuver through the defense. Leontin Cotoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alin Partenadze came out and tried to block the shot, but Leontin Cotoi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leontin Cotoi got free with Alin Partenadze in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Aurel Gorunescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alin Partenadze. That made the score 1-4 in the 63 minute of play. Alin Partenadze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristi Boboc in the 66th minute. Alin Partenadze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Cotoi in the 68th minute of play. Alin Partenadze was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Cristi Boboc capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristi Boboc really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in FC Alinborger's zone, Leontin Cotoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alin Partenadze came out of the goal and Leontin Cotoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Alinborger's Alin Partenadze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Gorunescu in the 80th minute of play. Filip Chițu scored 1-6 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alin Partenadze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Nae Hodorog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Alinborger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 the free kick. Octav Cândroveanu's late challenge caught a FC Alinborger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octav Cândroveanu helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Cotoi in the 91st minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Alin Partenadze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
