The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Gudesteo in the 2nd minute of the match. Granate's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Julio Gudesteo 2 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Anacleto Kinsen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Palmquist. The goal made the score 2-0. 11 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Gudesteo came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Granate's Jonathan Palmquist got control of the ball when Julio Gudesteo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Gudesteo got free with Jonathan Palmquist in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Atlético y Tiro Rqta getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rosendo Goito hit a great ball. Granate's Joaquin Ezkerra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atlético y Tiro Rqta. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Eugenio Steven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Steven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Palmquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Robert Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Landaburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernabe Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Gudesteo came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Granate from getting a goal against them. Luis Landaburu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Granate were furious when Amador Luzea was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 35th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Luzea to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Kinsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anacleto Kinsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Palmquist made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Saverio Luken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético y Tiro Rqta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Granate's Saverio Luken got a free kick in the 45th minute. A collision led to Atlético y Tiro Rqta getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nicolas Roldanillo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Rosendo Goito got a free kick in the 48th minute. Joaquin Ezkerra scored 2-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Landaburu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julio Gudesteo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ladislao Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Steven in the 56th minute of play. Jonathan Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Kinsen in the 58th minute of the match. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Kinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Gudesteo in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Anacleto Kinsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Palmquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After 75 minutes of play, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Anacleto Kinsen made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Palmquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute Julio Gudesteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Roldanillo during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Luis Landaburu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético y Tiro Rqta from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Julio Gudesteo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Palmquist. Granate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Gudesteo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 89th minute Ladislao Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Landaburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Nicolas Roldanillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anacleto Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlético y Tiro Rqta had played much better football throughout.
