Robert-Jan Hermensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olin Piper in the 8th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dexter Ashley during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dexter Ashley hit a great ball. Huib van der Gun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Ton de Ruijter. Robert-Jan Hermensen was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Darell Frey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Darell Frey really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Olin Piper came free, but Robert-Jan Hermensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 22 minutes on the clock, Freek Saarloos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Freek Saarloos hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Dwayne Grover could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Robert-Jan Hermensen made a huge save. Robert-Jan Hermensen was a little too slow when Curt Littlejohn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-0. Hugo Orlando Hrabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huib van der Gun, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Dwayne Grover could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Robert-Jan Hermensen however easily saved by the left post. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dwayne Grover sent off a good shot on target. Dwayne Grover could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Robert-Jan Hermensen made a huge save. 44 minutes into the game, Darell Frey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robert-Jan Hermensen. Darell Frey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0.

The wind increased when Huib van der Gun made the kick off in the second half. Giovanni Rademaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Orlando Hrabina having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dwayne Grover in the 59th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Robert-Jan Hermensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andreas Deinse fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NFC Eagles 22's protests and gave Andreas Deinse a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Andreas Deinse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Stowe City's Emilio Ianni broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the NFC Eagles 22 defense, Dwayne Grover kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen. The NFC Eagles 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert-Jan Hermensen should have stopped the shot. Stowe City made a substitution. Ulysses Lyles replaced Emilio Ianni. When Huib van der Gun came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the NFC Eagles 22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huib van der Gun couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olin Piper in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert-Jan Hermensen saved NFC Eagles 22 from getting behind. Dwayne Grover took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert-Jan Hermensen. Robert-Jan Hermensen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 84th minute, Darell Frey made a precise shot to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen. NFC Eagles 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. When Jan Tulner fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NFC Eagles 22's protests and gave Jan Tulner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Jan Tulner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Nico-Jan Pruischer. Robert-Jan Hermensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olin Piper in the 97th minute of the match.
