Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Família Ressaca MZ's Luiz Fábio Lopez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wanderson Cerezo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert-Jan Hermensen having to make a save. Domenik de Vos took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeu Donato. Romeu Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Romeu Donato successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Huib van der Gun scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeu Donato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Wanderson Cerezo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen. NFC Eagles 22's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson Cerezo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 26th minute, Arjan Kun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Huib van der Gun managed to get in a good position for a shot. NFC Eagles 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Huib van der Gun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Domenik de Vos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huib van der Gun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Huib van der Gun made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Família Ressaca MZ's zone, Huib van der Gun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Donato came out of the goal and Huib van der Gun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huib van der Gun in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeu Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huib van der Gun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Família Ressaca MZ got a freekick which was hit by Durval de Medeiros. In the 70th minute, Freek Saarloos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Família Ressaca MZ got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Cerezo. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Romeu Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Giovanni Rademaker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Donato was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Romeu Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenik de Vos went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Família Ressaca MZ's Romeu Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Rademaker in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Rademaker came free, but Romeu Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freek Saarloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Romeu Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeu Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huib van der Gun in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Huib van der Gun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Luiz Fábio Lopez sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. NFC Eagles 22 had won after a very even match.
