But to his dismay, Huib van der Gun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 24th minute of the match NFC Eagles 22 got a corner. Szittyák SE rege's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Huib van der Gun ran over to the corner to take the kick. 26 minutes into the game, Fang Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Robert-Jan Hermensen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giovanni Rademaker hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Fang Fan scored 1-5 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Huib van der Gun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Szittyák SE rege's Fang Fan in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NFC Eagles 22's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to NFC Eagles 22 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Arjan Kun hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huib van der Gun in the 45th minute of play forced Szittyák SE rege's goalkeeper Mátyás Vadas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Szittyák SE rege's Sal Fabelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Radnai to make the kick off. Giovanni Rademaker took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mátyás Vadas. Mátyás Vadas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Domenik de Vos got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes, Szittyák SE rege's Dániel Gál shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robert-Jan Hermensen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Szittyák SE rege reached it. Robert-Jan Hermensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Radnai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Ton de Ruijter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NFC Eagles 22's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szittyák SE rege the free kick. The supporters of Szittyák SE rege booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ton de Ruijter didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giovanni Craandijk during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Giovanni Craandijk got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes of play, Szittyák SE rege's Patrik Radnai made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert-Jan Hermensen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fang Fan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert-Jan Hermensen having to make a save. In the 90th minute Huib van der Gun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Vadas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Vencel Vajda sent off a good shot on target. Robert-Jan Hermensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Radnai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Radnai came free, but Robert-Jan Hermensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mátyás Vadas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Rademaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Szittyák SE rege played a much better game than NFC Eagles 22 and deserved their victory. The NFC Eagles 22 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
