Kajetan Turak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Neiva in the 15th minute. Charles Santoss short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Kajetan Turak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Wroclaw's Zachariasz Jakisz got a free kick in the 21st minute. Celsinho Bittencourt did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Kajetan Turak 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Twierdza Wroclaw booed when Inter de São Paulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Charles Santos fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de São Paulo's protests and gave Charles Santos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Charles Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Sokolski in the 32nd minute of play forced Inter de São Paulo's goalkeeper Eliseu Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celsinho Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Twierdza Wroclaw's Kajetan Turak got control of the ball when Charles Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Yan Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Douglas Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de São Paulo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Twierdza Wroclaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugeniusz Sokolski to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Santos made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Charles Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kajetan Turak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute, Frédson Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Twierdza Wroclaw's Kajetan Turak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Santos in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Twierdza Wroclaw defense, César Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kajetan Turak. The Twierdza Wroclaw fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kajetan Turak should have stopped the shot. Celsinho Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Turak having to interfere. Kajetan Turak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kajetan Turak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, Twierdza Wroclaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Zdeb to maneuver through the defense. César Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Santos in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kajetan Turak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Neiva in the 75th minute of play forced Twierdza Wroclaw's goalkeeper Kajetan Turak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Celsinho Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de São Paulo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Wroclaw's Tytus Zieba got a free kick in the 81st minute. Zbyszek Mnich kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celsinho Bittencourt in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kajetan Turak saved Twierdza Wroclaw from getting behind. Twierdza Wroclaw's Kajetan Turak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Branco in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Wroclaw's Tytus Zieba got a free kick in the 87th minute. Celsinho Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Wroclaw's Marian Okopny got a free kick in the 95th minute. Celsinho Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Kajetan Turak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inter de São Paulo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
