Estudiantes de América's attentive Rolando Erasto managed to snatch the ball when Oscar do Vale made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Precioso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ildefonso Balesio's late challenge caught a Jenipapo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Balesio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ildefonso Balesio hit a great ball. If Luan Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jenipapo SC's zone, Ciro Arlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Nascimento came out of the goal and Ciro Arlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Arlo. When Jenipapo SC's Cristiano Marquez in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de América's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Ildefonso Balesio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Donato Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Magalhães in the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Ciro Arlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Mateus Urbano hit a great ball. Adrian Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jenipapo SC's Cristiano Marquez in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de América's goalie prevented a goal. Jenipapo SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar do Vale in the 95th minute. The corner ended in Oscar do Vale almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Estudiantes de América's Adrian Ospetsu did a great save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estudiantes de América players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jenipapo SC.
