The audience was convinced that Barrie Newell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bray Mcjunkins was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Barrie Newell got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bray Mcjunkins. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barrie Newell in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bray Mcjunkins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donny Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bray Mcjunkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Barrie Newell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute.
