In the 9th match minute, Clapham Comets F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Declan Rice to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Ioritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Hector Silvanito hit a great ball. Geronimo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iain Ely in the 14th minute of play. Geronimo Rainerio came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Clapham Comets F.C.'s Iain Ely. But to his dismay, Iain Ely quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Tyler Woodcock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quitilipi the free kick. In the 17th minute, Tyler Woodcock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Donny Watson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Barrie Newell got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barrie Newell in the 25th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Geronimo Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Barrie Newell made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Rainerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barrie Newell in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Rainerio saved Quitilipi from getting behind. Geronimo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Watson in the 33rd minute of play. Clapham Comets F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barrie Newell in the 34th minute. Brad Symons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Clapham Comets F.C.'s Barrie Newell in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quitilipi's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Barrie Newell put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Geronimo Rainerio. Brad Symons scored 0-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Rainerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Quitilipi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clapham Comets F.C. were winning 0-5.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barrie Newell was the one to do the kick off. Barrie Newell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Brad Symons struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Geronimo Rainerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clapham Comets F.C.. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quitilipi's goalkeeper Geronimo Rainerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geronimo Rainerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barrie Newell's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Barrie Newells short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Geronimo Rainerio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st minute, Barrie Newell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geronimo Rainerio. The goal made the score 0-6. Barrie Newell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Geronimo Rainerio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Barrie Newell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Geronimo Rainerio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 72 minutes, Barrie Newell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Barrie Newell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Barrie Newell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Barrie Newell sped through Quitilipi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geronimo Rainerio. Barrie Newell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Esteban Ioritz fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quitilipi's protests and gave Esteban Ioritz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Ioritz to maneuver through the defense. Brad Symons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrie Newell in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geronimo Rainerio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 85th minute, Brad Symons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute Brad Symons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Barrie Newell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. In the 95th match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Johans to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Clapham Comets F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quitilipi throughout the match.
