Thanks to some nice moves Jean-Claude Van Damme could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Jimeno Rami however easily saved by the left post. Anibal Unai hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Genaro Sabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kjell-Arne Hultman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gloria Verdinegra AFC booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvester Stallone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Genaro Sabin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Hultman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Kollberg in the 16th minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Jimeno Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell-Arne Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Berasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 33rd minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Jimeno Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Genaro Sabin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell-Arne Hultman was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Claude Van Damme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimeno Rami came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by MAFFIAN's Jean-Claude Van Damme. But to his dismay, Jean-Claude Van Damme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Gloria Verdinegra AFC booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvester Stallone didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eulalio Berasko came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Gloria Verdinegra AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Berasko couldn't finish the play. Jimeno Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, MAFFIAN's Arnold Schwarzenegger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Rami made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Arnoldo Ler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Hultman having to interfere. When Sylvester Stallone fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave Sylvester Stallone a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Sylvester Stallone.
