In the 3rd minute, Robert Hammond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Garlic Eaters getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Charlie Silk hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Luís Fábio Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tod Tompkins took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Donato. Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. James Tuck might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. James Tuck ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 20 minutes, Gez Barber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garlic Eaters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gez Barber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. James Tuck kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Umbrella Corporation got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Sergipano. Garlic Eaters's Tod Tompkins couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Umbrella Corporation. James Tuck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ian Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. Garlic Eaters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tod Tompkins in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Tod Tompkins got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruno Donato quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the game, Garlic Eaters's James Tuck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Donato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bruno Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Barber in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Umbrella Corporation's Alessandro Macedo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Garlic Eaters's Gez Barber got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Barber in the 47th minute of the match. The Umbrella Corporation players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garlic Eaters were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gez Barber was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Gonçalves came free, but Gul Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gez Barber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Donato was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Gez Barber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Bruno Donato made a huge save. James Tuck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Fabrício Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gez Barber in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute, Leonardo Capixaba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gul Keep was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Bruno Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Falcão in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Ian Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gul Keep. Garlic Eaters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Umbrella Corporation's zone, Gez Barber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Donato came out of the goal and Gez Barber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wanderson Rosa's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Wanderson Rosa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Barber in the 95th minute of play forced Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Bruno Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
