Jimeno Rami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Alcântara in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimeno Rami saved Gloria Verdinegra AFC from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Incendio came free, but Jimeno Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes, Anibal Unai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gloria Verdinegra AFC and the Club Deportivo Álvarez players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anibal Unai hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Guillermo Manilan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Álvarez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Manilan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Jimeno Rami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Manilan in the 40th minute of play. Jimeno Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Incendio in the 42nd minute of the match. Jimeno Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Iigo in the 43rd minute of play. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Jimeno Rami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Incendio in the 44th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gloria Verdinegra AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! The Gloria Verdinegra AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Deportivo Álvarez were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Alcântara to make the kick off. Gaston Iigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Rami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Jimeno Rami got control of the ball when Fred Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Fred Alcântara took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Jimeno Rami to make any attempt to save it. Jimeno Rami didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Manilan went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After 79 played minutes Gloria Verdinegra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Unai. Fred Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Fred Alcântara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jimeno Rami. That made the score 0-8 in the 81 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Fred Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Álvarez's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Rami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Club Deportivo Álvarez booed when Gloria Verdinegra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Deportivo Álvarez's Mauro Oinatz was substituted for Henrik Larsson. In the 88th minute, Horacio Iztal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Deportivo Álvarez's Guillermo Manilan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimeno Rami. That made the score 0-9 after 89 minutes of play. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Guillermo Manilan scored to the left of an out of position Jimeno Rami, making the score, 0-10. Club Deportivo Álvarez made a substitution. Bebur Levidze replaced Epifanio Silviano. 97 minutes into the game, Horacio Iztal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo Álvarez the free kick. A collision led to Gloria Verdinegra AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Horacio Iztal hit a great ball. In the 99th match minute, Gloria Verdinegra AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Iztal to maneuver through the defense. After 100 played minutes, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Gaston Iigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimeno Rami came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Deportivo Álvarez reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Manilan in the 101st minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Jimeno Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Club Deportivo Álvarez left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gloria Verdinegra AFC.
