In the 3rd minute, Hortêncio Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ezequiel Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umbrella Corporation's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 4 minutes into the match, São José City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Fernandes came free, but Hélder Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Fernandes in the 8th minute of play forced São José City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Hélder Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wanderson Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Severo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Macedo during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Roger Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Umbrella Corporation's Wanderson Rosa got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sebastião Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélder Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. During the 23rd minute of the match Alessandro Macedo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alessandro Macedo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of São José City - FSCMZ booed when Umbrella Corporation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Severo came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Umbrella Corporation's Ezequiel Fernandes. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hélder Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Silvinho Pernambucano hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Ezequiel Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder Severo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 37th minute, Nelsinho Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sebastião Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Edgar Cavalcante with Nelsinho Cunha as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hélder Severo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Umbrella Corporation's Ezequiel Fernandes. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Umbrella Corporation booed when São José City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The São José City - FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Umbrella Corporation were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. São José City - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Ezequiel Fernandes scored to the left of an out of position Hélder Severo, making the score, 0-4. In the 56th minute, Roger Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leonardo Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Edgar Cavalcante hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the game Edgar Cavalcante made a throw-in which Nelsinho Cunha played forward. 81 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Xavier came free, but Sebastião Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrício Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. São José City - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Ezequiel Fernandes scored to the left of an out of position Hélder Severo, making the score, 0-5. Edgar Cavalcante made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tostão Mota. The Umbrella Corporation players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
