Maureo Magdalena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Liberati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Maureo Magdalena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute Maureo Magdalena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Liberati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Halcon Sport 69 fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Halcon Sport 69's Maureo Magdalena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Maureo Magdalena came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Halcon Sport 69 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maureo Magdalena couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club Sicilia's zone, Maureo Magdalena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Liberati came out of the goal and Maureo Magdalena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Maureo Magdalena notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sporting Club Sicilia's Federico Liberati. Federico Liberati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Federico Liberati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maureo Magdalena, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting Club Sicilia! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Halcon Sport 69. Epifanio Vaca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Federico Liberati. 0-4. A collision led to Sporting Club Sicilia getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Carlo Colaneri hit a great ball. Halcon Sport 69's Epifanio Vaca took a good shot, in the 42nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Federico Liberati's head, and flew over the goal. Sporting Club Sicilia's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Halcon Sport 69. Maureo Magdalena struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Federico Liberati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halcon Sport 69. After 45 played minutes Sporting Club Sicilia got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Colaneri. Federico Liberati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maureo Magdalena's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gianluca Scamacca to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maureo Magdalena in the 52nd minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Federico Liberati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Halcon Sport 69 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Vaca to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Vaca shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 64 minutes into the match, Maureo Magdalena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Federico Liberati, 0-5. 67 minutes into the match, Gianluca Scamacca notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Halcon Sport 69's Tabby Leceta. Tabby Leceta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Federico Liberati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maureo Magdalenas short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Federico Liberati to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 75 played minutes Halcon Sport 69 got a freekick which was hit by Cresitobalo Gibaja. Halcon Sport 69's Maureo Magdalena got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Vaca during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Halcon Sport 69's Maureo Magdalena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Federico Liberati. Federico Liberati yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. After 89 played minutes Franco Lormendez rounded Sporting Club Sicilia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremy Montero got free with Federico Liberati in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Sporting Club Sicilia's Federico Liberati got control of the ball when Maureo Magdalena tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Sporting Club Sicilia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Halcon Sport 69's performance. The match ended with a win for Halcon Sport 69.
