Spectators: 7620 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) In the 6thth minute of the game Santiago Mikelar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Retorno de Palermo's Filiberto Fidele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Galtero in the 7th minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Filiberto Fidele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rolando Chan came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cha Fe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Chan couldn't finish the play. Patricio Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Ofelio in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute El Retorno de Palermo were awarded a corner. Aaron Cebo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Aaron Cebo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cha Fe FC's Patricio Pepillo did a great save. Santiago Mikelar took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Fidele. Filiberto Fidele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Filiberto Fidele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Bartolo Galtero's late challenge caught a El Retorno de Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Galtero helped the player get up and apologised. When Leandro Ofelio fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Retorno de Palermo's protests and gave Leandro Ofelio a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in El Retorno de Palermo's zone, Santiago Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Fidele came out of the goal and Santiago Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santiago Mikelar scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiberto Fidele, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Hilario Mikeldi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Retorno de Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Anibal Egoitz got a free kick in the 44th minute. El Retorno de Palermo's Filiberto Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Chan in the 45th minute of play. Filiberto Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Cha Fe FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leandro Ofelio made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's Rolando Chan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filiberto Fidele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cha Fe FC were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after El Retorno de Palermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tadeo Pagomari took the corner. The corner led Cha Fe FC's Bartolo Galtero to fire away a dangerous shot which Filiberto Fidele despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leandro Ofelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Pepillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Filiberto Fidele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Chan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiberto Fidele made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Rolando Chan sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cha Fe FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rolando Chan hit a great ball. After 72 minutes of play, El Retorno de Palermo's Leandro Ofelio made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Pepillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, El Retorno de Palermo's Hilario Mikeldi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Pepillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 80th minute, one of El Retorno de Palermo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Retorno de Palermo. Rosendo Izotz charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Izotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cha Fe FC's Patricio Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Oalo in the 91st minute of play. Florencio Patrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cha Fe FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
