When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dedê Cerezo made a kick off. Pedrão Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Inocente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrão Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Hector Casse made a huge save. Temperley's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Anaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Ceni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dedê Cerezo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Casse having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Amador Anaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Ceni was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
