In the 9th minute Hudson de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Fidele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Espiridion succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 10th playminute. A collision led to LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Hudson de Godoi hit a great ball. Cafu Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Espiridion in the 26th minute. Filiberto Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Aaron Cebo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Retorno de Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF the free kick. 34 minutes into the game, one of LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hudson de Godoi made a kick off. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Leandro Ofelio hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Guillermo Espiridion sped through LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cafu Amaral. Hudson de Godoi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Filiberto Fidele when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Leandro Ofelio notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Cafu Amaral. Cafu Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Giuseppe Silveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filiberto Fidele. Giuseppe Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Filiberto Fidele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
