Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) After 5 minutes, Claudio Azeari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Temperley and the Poetass FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudio Azeari kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Azeari in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio de Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Matthew in the 11th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genílson Andrade in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Casse saved Temperley from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Matthew in the 19th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Poetass FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Claudinho Saldanha hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Genílson Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poetass FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Temperley the free kick. Genílson Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Poetass FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Claudio Azeari scored to the left of an out of position Cássio de Senna, making the score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Romeo Matthew notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna. Cássio de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 42 played minutes, Poetass FC's Claudinho Saldanha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hector Casse came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poetass FC reached it. Poetass FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Temperley's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudinho Saldanha took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Claudinho Saldanha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hector Casse quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 46th minute, Romeo Matthew left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Temperley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Matthew was the one to do the kick off. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Matthew in the 51st minute of play. Cássio de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the game, Romeo Matthew was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poetass FC the free kick. After 54 played minutes Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Matthew. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Temperley's Romeo Matthew. But to his dismay, Romeo Matthew quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Azeari in the 62nd minute of play. Romeo Matthew took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio de Senna. Cássio de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Ismael Penha hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Modesto Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Romeo Matthew made a precise shot to the right of Cássio de Senna. Poetass FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Amador Anaya kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Modesto Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Azeari, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Cássio de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Azeari in the 86th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Hector Casse successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hector Casse made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Genílson Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Claudinho Saldanha hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
