If Modesto Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. After 19 minutes of play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Giuseppe Silveira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Casse was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Temperley's Claudio Azeari ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cafu Amaral. Cafu Amaral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Edvaldo Prado got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Fernandinho Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Temperley's Hector Casse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Romeo Matthew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernandinho Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ricardo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Edmílson de Almeida got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ricardo Elia hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Matthew in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafu Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edvaldo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Casse having to interfere. Temperley's Amador Anaya was substituted for Bonifacio Azevedo. In the 62nd minute Giuseppe Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Casse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Temperley's Hector Casse got control of the ball when Fernandinho Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Tostão Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
