Dedê Cerezo started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute Aloísio Chulapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radowit Gdaniec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Rogério Ceni made a huge save. The supporters of FC SZAFIRY booed when Divina Comédia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrão Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliks Wielkopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Paraense in the 18th minute of the match. When Dedê Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divina Comédia FC's protests and gave Dedê Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dedê Cerezo hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Ludomir Debowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Dedê Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Divina Comédia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedê Cerezo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliks Wielkopolski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludomir Debowski's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomir Debowski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when FC SZAFIRY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomir Debowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedê Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliks Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Chulapa in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, FC SZAFIRY's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Valladares came free, but Feliks Wielkopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliks Wielkopolski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Paraense went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Divina Comédia FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radowit Gdaniec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Chulapa got free with Feliks Wielkopolski in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bogumil Gajewski charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogumil Gajewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Gdaniec in the 65th minute of play. Jerônimo Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, FC SZAFIRY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Wojton to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Gdaniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Feliks Wielkopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Chulapa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC SZAFIRY's zone, Dorian Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliks Wielkopolski came out of the goal and Dorian Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Chulapa got free with Feliks Wielkopolski in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliks Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Valladares in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, FC SZAFIRY's goalkeeper Feliks Wielkopolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aloísio Chulapa. The FC SZAFIRY fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Divina Comédia FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
