With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Xavier in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio de Senna saved Poetass FC from getting behind. Cássio de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria da Costa in the 16th minute of the match. Rony Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Edmílson de Almeida sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fernandinho Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandinho Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Silveira in the 25th minute of play. The nice shot from Olavo Carioca in the 27thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cafu Amaral had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 32 played minutes LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Xavier. When José Maria da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's protests and gave José Maria da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, José Maria da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Allan Félix. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Silveira in the 41st minute of play. Olavo Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Poetass FC's goalie and right to José Maria da Costa. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Poetass FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 56 played minutes Fernandinho Xavier rounded Poetass FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. With his leg Cássio de Senna managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Fernandinho Xavier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 65 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Silveira. With a little luck, Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna got control of the ball when Fernandinho Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them.
