The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cha Fe FC's Patricio Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Saldanha in the 2nd minute of play. Rolando Chan scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute Deivid Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Santiago Mikelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cha Fe FC's Patricio Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Saldanha in the 17th minute of play. Cássio de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Galtero went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 22 played minutes Cha Fe FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Virila. Patricio Pepillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandrinho Messias's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Patricio Pepillo was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Sandrinho Messias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandrinho Messias really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 31 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's Olavo Carioca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Pepillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Chan in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's Olavo Carioca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Pepillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Poetass FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Cha Fe FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Deivid Quadros took the corner. 38 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Penha came free, but Patricio Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bartolo Galtero came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cha Fe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Galtero couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandrinho Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. Aquiles Qwinton kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Claudinho Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Poetass FC's zone, Santiago Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal and Santiago Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, Cha Fe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Galtero to maneuver through the defense. Cássio de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Galtero in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Olavo Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Dalmau in the 71st minute of the match. Santiago Mikelar hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Rolando Chans short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Cássio de Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cássio de Senna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santiago Mikelar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 77 minute of play. After 82 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Sergipano. Patricio Pepillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandrinho Messias's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Eugênio Matos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cha Fe FC's Santiago Mikelar got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Rolando Chan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cha Fe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. When the final whistle sounded Cha Fe FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Poetass FC.
