After 3 minutes of play, SLB TELHA's Nivaldo Pessoa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltazar de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nivaldo Pessoa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nivaldo Pessoa hit a great ball. Baltazar de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Espírito Santo in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Esparteiro in the 19th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Baltazar de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséias Aguiar hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SLB TELHA's João Nascimento got a free kick in the 21st minute. Cléber da Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Abílio Gois skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hílton Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Neiva in the 27th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Baltazar de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Nivaldo Pessoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SLB TELHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 32 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Queiroz. Gonçalo Neiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltazar de Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Nivaldo Pessoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SLB TELHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Flávio Esparteiro's late challenge caught a Gracie Barra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Esparteiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Flávio Esparteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Xavier during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Xavier to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Neiva took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltazar de Amorim. Baltazar de Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half SLB TELHA were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nivaldo Pessoa to make the kick off. After 59 played minutes Flávio Esparteiro rounded Gracie Barra's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. In the 62nd minute, Nivaldo Pessoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baltazar de Amorim. The goal made the score 0-6. 1-7 became the score in the 73rd minute when Gonçalo Neiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gracie Barra's Orlando do Valle got a free kick in the 79th minute. Abílio Gois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nivaldo Pessoa to maneuver through the defense. Flávio Esparteiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-8 in the 86th playminute. In the 90th minute, Aristides Espírito Santo made a precise shot to the right of Baltazar de Amorim. Gracie Barra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-9. Gracie Barra's Baltazar de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Gracie Barra from getting a goal against them. When the match was over SLB TELHA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gracie Barra throughout the match.
