When Abel Trigueiro fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SLB TELHA's protests and gave Abel Trigueiro a yellow card for diving instead. Abílio Gois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Vardarov in the 10th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Nivaldo Pessoa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of VN Keleler's Lyubcho Ruychev. Lyubcho Ruychev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in VN Keleler's zone, Flávio Esparteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lyubcho Ruychev came out of the goal and Flávio Esparteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rostislav Mazakov kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of SLB TELHA booed when VN Keleler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rostislav Mazakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. SLB TELHA's Nivaldo Pessoa got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Neiva in the 36th minute of play forced VN Keleler's goalkeeper Lyubcho Ruychev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Espírito Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yani Popisakov to strike the kick off in the second half. Aristides Espírito Santo took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lyubcho Ruychev. Lyubcho Ruychev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Mauro Bettencourt struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Lyubcho Ruychev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SLB TELHA. Gonçalo Neiva hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Angel Vardarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Nivaldo Pessoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyubcho Ruychev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyubcho Ruychev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Espírito Santo in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cesário Laureano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nivaldo Pessoa in the 63rd minute of play forced VN Keleler's goalkeeper Lyubcho Ruychev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lyubcho Ruychev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nivaldo Pessoa in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Neiva. 70 minutes into the match, VN Keleler's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Esparteiro came free, but Lyubcho Ruychev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, VN Keleler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grozdan Vrazhalski to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Espírito Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Nivaldo Pessoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SLB TELHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Lyubcho Ruychev came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by SLB TELHA's Nivaldo Pessoa. But to his dismay, Nivaldo Pessoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Abel Trigueiro hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, VN Keleler's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Espírito Santo came free, but Lyubcho Ruychev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyubcho Ruychev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Esparteiro in the 89th minute of play. When SLB TELHA's Nivaldo Pessoa in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VN Keleler's goalie prevented a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Aristides Espírito Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lyubcho Ruychev. VN Keleler's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Espírito Santo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Lyubcho Ruychev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nivaldo Pessoa in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that SLB TELHA were the better team. SLB TELHA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
