Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Balázs Pálinkás kicked off to start the match. Lajos Jakó kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Emil Balakchiev came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the VN Keleler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Balakchiev couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Balázs Pálinkás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lyubcho Ruychev. VN Keleler's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Balázs Pálinkás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ferenc Jászberényi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, one of Szombathely Squirrels:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Szombathely Squirrels. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for VN Keleler. Grozdan Chapkúnov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gusztáv Jászberényi. 1-1. Gusztáv Jászberényi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angel Vardarov went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Grozdan Chapkúnov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th play minute Rostislav Mazakov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gusztáv Jászberényi. 3-1. After 30 minutes of play, Szombathely Squirrels's Dénes Boross made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lyubcho Ruychev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dénes Boross's late challenge caught a VN Keleler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dénes Boross helped the player get up and apologised. Dénes Boross hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Jászberényi got control of the ball when Angel Vardarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Szilárd Csikós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VN Keleler's Lyubcho Ruychev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihály Csontos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Vardarov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angel Vardarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián György. VN Keleler's Lyubcho Ruychev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szilárd Csikós in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krisztián György to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Balakchiev came free, but Gusztáv Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szombathely Squirrels's Szilárd Csikós got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Dénes Boross left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szombathely Squirrels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Szilárd Csikós hit a great ball. A collision led to VN Keleler getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rostislav Mazakov hit a great ball. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ottó Udvari hit a great ball. Dénes Boross's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lyubcho Ruychev firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergey Munev in the 77th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Gusztáv Jászberényi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by János Major. János Major hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Elenko Ikov charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elenko Ikov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elenko Ikov kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Szilárd Csikós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters rose to their feet, but Szilárd Csikós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lyubcho Ruychev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lyubcho Ruychev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szilárd Csikós in the 93rd minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
