The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Octavia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Frans Berg scored to the left of an out of position Luar Abadie, making the score, 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Bograngen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Hammarström to maneuver through the defense. Carl Ambjörnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrosio Abellaneda went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Bograngen's Carl Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Troncoso in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Bograngen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pangeran Cross to maneuver through the defense. If Marcos Troncoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Troncoso in the 37th minute of play forced Bograngen's goalkeeper Carl Ambjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Ambjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Abancens in the 43rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Troncoso during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcos Troncoso kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Octavia were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Troncoso was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Octavia booed when Bograngen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Hammarström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Vidar Soned left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bograngen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Luar Abadie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Berg in the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Soned came free, but Luar Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Ambjörnsson was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Marcos Troncoso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcos Troncoso really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Troncoso in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Ambjörnsson saved Bograngen from getting behind. 90 minutes into the game, Evis Abarca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Octavia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bograngen the free kick. In the 93rd minute Marcos Troncoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Ambjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
