Octavia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Luar Abadie made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Aristides Espírito Santo sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Gonçalo Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luar Abadie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nivaldo Pessoa went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Flávio Esparteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SLB TELHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 42nd match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilídio Braga to maneuver through the defense. Abílio Gois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolado Abendano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Zosimo Abancens might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abílio Gois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zosimo Abancens ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nivaldo Pessoa made a kick off. When Aristides Espírito Santo fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SLB TELHA's protests and gave Aristides Espírito Santo a yellow card for diving instead. Aristides Espírito Santo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Luar Abadie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Espírito Santo went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute Flávio Esparteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luar Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Marcos Troncoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abílio Gois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zosimo Abancens in the 61st minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Abílio Gois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Katia Abaurre put in a rough tackle. In the 70th minute, one of Octavia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Octavia. The referee gave SLB TELHA a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Flávio Esparteiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Octavia's Luar Abadie. 7-0. In the 78th minute of the match Rolado Abendano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abílio Gois showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Octavia's Luar Abadie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Espírito Santo in the 79th minute of play. Luar Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Espírito Santo in the 81st minute of play. Ambrosio Abellaneda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Abílio Gois when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Aristides Espírito Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luar Abadie was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Luar Abadie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
