The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Rivermania FC's Alejandro Truylos got control of the ball when Roman Quexal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Trocha Media FC's Ermegildo Bartolome got a free kick in the 11th minute. Alejandro Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute of the match Trocha Media FC got a corner. Rivermania FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Loco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Emiliano Ofelio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rivermania FC's Alejandro Truylos did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Sergi in the 23rd minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Prospero Playo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Truylos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Ofelio. In the 26th minute of the match, Joaquin Felipillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alejandro Truylos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute Mauricio Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Truylos made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Emiliano Ofelio sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th match minute, Rivermania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Sergi to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Felipillo came free, but Alejandro Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Mauricio Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Sergi in the 37th minute of play. Prospero Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Rufio in the 37th minute of the match. Prospero Playo came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Rivermania FC's Hermengildo Rufio. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Rufio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alejandro Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mauricio Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Serafino Chuan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes, Trocha Media FC's Adolfo Gizon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejandro Truylos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trocha Media FC reached it. Prospero Playo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Rivermania FC's Nicanor Dimas. But to his dismay, Nicanor Dimas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Serafino Chuan hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Joaquin Felipillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Truylos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Dimas in the 65th minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Prospero Playo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. From a short distance, Rivermania FC's Nicanor Dimas, in the 65th minute, tried to place the ball behind Prospero Playo, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Hermengildo Rufio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Prospero Playo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Dimas in the 71st minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Prospero Playo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Sergi in the 83rd minute of play. Uriel Vincente hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Camilo Sayveon hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Trocha Media FC's Simon Isauro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Mauricio Sergi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Rivermania FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
