Alberto Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Moisés da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosalio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horácio Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosalio Pinto came free, but Moisés da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manuel Legrand to maneuver through the defense. Moisés da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelio Uriondo went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Grêmio Papão de WC were furious when Luiz Maia was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Luiz Maia hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Lucio Jose María Cáceres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Alberto Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Papão de WC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Alberto Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Manuel Legrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Moisés da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Grêmio Papão de WC were awarded a corner. Luiz Fábio Vinhas went to the cornerflag to take it. 38 minutes into the match, Rosalio Pinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moisés da Silveira. Grêmio Papão de WC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosalio Pinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Silvino Winter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grêmio Papão de WC's Moisés da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Uriondo in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Dadá Amorim made the kick off in the second half. Lucio Jose María Cáceres came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Moisés da Silveira could save by the left post. In the 58th minute, Dadá Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Baquedano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Amorim in the 60th minute of play. Moisés da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosalio Pinto in the 65th minute of the match. Dadá Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Christian Baquedano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Rosalio Pinto took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Moisés da Silveira to make any attempt to save it. Grêmio Papão de WC's Dadá Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Lucio Jose María Cáceres managed to work through Grêmio Papão de WC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lucio Jose María Cáceres dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The crowd rose to their feet as Rosalio Pinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moisés da Silveira. That made the score 0-5 in the 90 minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Jose Manuel Legrand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moisés da Silveira. Jose Manuel Legrand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6.
