If Lucio Jose María Cáceres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Garoa Madariaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AGT Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, Lucio Jose María Cáceres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AGT Team's Maurício Quilempan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save AGT Team from getting a goal against them. Maurício Quilempan made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Lucio Jose María Cáceres sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Alex Catoni got a free kick in the 18th minute. Andrés Nadal charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrés Nadal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes AGT Team got a freekick which was hit by Andrés Nadal. Lucio Jose María Cáceres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Maurício Quilempan made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Rosalio Pinto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Maurício Quilempan to make any attempt to save it. Garoa Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Baquedano having to interfere. Maurício Quilempan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Jose María Cáceres in the 38th minute. When Cornelio Uriondo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Uriondo couldn't finish the play. Maurício Quilempan made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Lucio Jose María Cáceres sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Rosalio Pinto made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in AGT Team's zone, Jose Manuel Legrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Quilempan came out of the goal and Jose Manuel Legrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justin Pareja's late challenge caught a PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justin Pareja helped the player get up and apologised. Justin Pareja kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, AGT Team's goal looked a bit too open when Rosalio Pinto came free, but Maurício Quilempan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurício Quilempan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Uriondo in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés Nadal in the 80th minute of play forced PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's goalkeeper Christian Baquedano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Quilempan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosalio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurício Quilempan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Manuel Legrand in the 93rd minute of play. When PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Jose Manuel Legrand in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored AGT Team's protests and gave José Arenas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC booed when AGT Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Arenas didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the AGT Team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC.
