When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gugu Travassos put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Porfirio. After a defensive mix-up in Firmat Foot Ball Club's zone, Tiago Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Porfirio came out of the goal and Tiago Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Porfirio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandrinho Leite went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Gartxot in the 27th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Sydney Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandrinho Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Porfirio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Firmat Foot Ball Club's Leonides Gartxot got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inácio Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Victor Porfirio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granadero10. Gugu Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when Firmat Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Clis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gugu Travassos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gugu Travassos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Victor Porfirio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Willian Neves came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Granadero10 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willian Neves couldn't finish the play. Victor Porfirio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Leite to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Barbosa. Granadero10 played a much better game than Firmat Foot Ball Club and deserved their victory. The Firmat Foot Ball Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
