Juan Antonio Vives in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 34th minute Marín Mason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkestis Stasinopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horatio Tobler might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abner Dohrmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horatio Tobler ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horatio Tobler to strike the kick off in the second half. Ondino Martin's late challenge caught a FC Stadtclub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ondino Martin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Torreoncito's Ondino Martin got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Torreoncito's goalkeeper Abner Dohrmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romero Affolter. FC Stadtclub's Alkestis Stasinopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marín Mason in the 63rd minute of play. Alkestis Stasinopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marín Mason's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Torreoncito's Marín Mason managed to work through FC Stadtclub's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Marín Mason dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Torreoncito were furious when Erik Vera was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 76th minute, Simon Lampart made a precise shot to the right of Abner Dohrmann. Torreoncito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When Félix Quezada fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torreoncito's protests and gave Félix Quezada a yellow card for diving instead. Félix Quezada hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The long shot by Matthias Vrijdags in the 79th minute really tested Abner Dohrmann's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Torreoncito getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Félix Quezada hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, FC Stadtclub's Yannick Walpert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abner Dohrmann. Abner Dohrmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. 87 minutes into the match, Torreoncito's goal looked a bit too open when Romero Affolter came free, but Abner Dohrmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torreoncito's Abner Dohrmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horatio Tobler in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Ondino Martin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Jeanneret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Torreoncito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Stadtclub's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Stadtclub.
