Alkestis Stasinopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Sabrosa in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Dufresne in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Pais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Lázaro Falcão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Proud FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Carlos Dufresne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Stadtclub fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when FC Stadtclub's Carlos Dufresne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Óscar Sabrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Romero Affolter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Lampart kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Dufresne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yannick Walpert got free with Júlio Pais in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Dufresne struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Júlio Pais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stadtclub. Lázaro Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkestis Stasinopoulos having to interfere. A collision led to FC Stadtclub getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Matthias Vrijdags hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, FC Stadtclub's Michael Hottiger seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Michael Hottiger the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Stadtclub protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Michael Hottiger had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of FC Stadtclub:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Red Proud FC:s goal. Alkestis Stasinopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Sabrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Stadtclub's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juvenal Assis was slow to take the kick. During this time Red Proud FC's players had a chance to rest. Juvenal Assis made a great header on Red Proud FC's corner, it was just that FC Stadtclub's Alkestis Stasinopoulos managed to reach the ball for a save. Júlio Pais was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yannick Walpert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 84 minute of play. Alkestis Stasinopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Sabrosa in the 99th minute of the match.
